Pastor Sharon Ona has served with her husband, Bob, in pastoral ministry throughout their marriage. She prepared for pastoral ministry at North Central University in Minneapolis.
Pastor Sharon has served in various ministry capacities throughout her adult life; and while her two children were growing up, successfully struck a balance between serving in the church and being a mom.
Currently, Pastor Sharon provides supervision for Women’s Ministries, and the Graphics Department. In addition, she acts in an advisory capacity to members of the pastoral team at First Assembly.
Pastor Sharon was raised in Iowa and attended church regularly. However, it was not until she was 18 years old that she met Jesus Christ. Since then, she has had a passion to know Christ and make Him known.
Pastor Sharon loves the moving of the Holy Spirit. Typically, her teaching sessions transition into ministry times with spiritual gifts in operation. She has a heart to see women grow in Christ. Pastor Sharon has a strong desire to see women grounded in the Word and established in relationship with other godly women.
